Problem:

Enable the transformation of a traditional bank to a New-Age bank.

The gist of the approach:

Transform the core of the bank and all peripheral products.Quite simple. Isn't it? but here is the catch while there is the science to the product selection, all other aspects are related to the art of understanding people and their incetives. One without the other is like “wisdom without experience”.

Reminisce:

We were invited by the ambassador for a photo-op when we arrived at the consulate for our visa appointment.

Problem:

Define the technology transformation roadmap for a tier 1 component manufacturer.

The gist of the approach:

Understand business objective and determine how technology can help accelerate achieving those objectives. And, since it’s manufacturing, only the “number” matters.  

Reminisce:

Traveling circus was the vision. Think about it ;).

Of late, I have been intrigued by our social constructs and the philosophical underpinnings.  And, while I was lost deep in thought I wondered how would it feel to read the original work of influential western philosophers. And, eureka I had the idea of a project "Project Rousseau". i.e. read "Du contrat social; ou Principes du droit politique". Now, starting with French. Update: 2024,05, Project in back burner

Books do take you to a different world. So, I thought of going to these different places. Of course, the struggle has been to pin down a book to a country. But then, it is better to err on the side of caution and read more ;).

Update: 2024,05, Its Turing out to be a 10 year project :) and am enjoying it.
